Any Changes to be made with Google Adsense?

November 5th, 2009

So I’ve been wondering about this for awhile. Google Adsense has been up for awhile now, a few changes made here and there, but nothing major. The one feature I do not like is the arrow feature. I mean how many people do you know that is going to be looking through ads?

I just noticed now that Google implements flash in their image ads, I never used image ads so I don’t care much for this feature. I wonder what the click through rate is for flash ads anyway, anyone know if it is good?

The big change I would like to see for Adsense is images and text all in one ad. Then people would really see an appeal in clicking an ad I think! It just seems like Google Adsense Ads are losing their appeal. I hope Google comes out with something for the future then benefits us publishers. To show you what I mean, I posted a pictures of what one ad company has done. The company that has implemented this feature in their ads is Chitika. Problem with Chitika is their advertisers database is no where near the size of Google Adsense, so you’re not going to get very relevant ads.

Also, I would like to see some different sized ads. Would be nice to see Google make the 468×60 ad a lot thicker, maybe 468×120.
