Webmaster Population Increasing?

So what do you guys and gals think, is the overall webmaster population increasing? I think it is! After the word getting out in newspapers, TV, and magazines that you can rake in a considerable amount of money, people will definitely try anything to make an extra buck. Especially in these hard times during this economical crisis. I just don’t think people stay in the hobby very long, they lose confidence and patience. What new webmasters don’t understand is you need a lot of extra time to become a successful webmaster. I know some of these money making schemes say you can make $5000 a month just by working one hour a day on a website. It’s total bull, don’t fall for their schemes.

To sum it up, yes I do believe the webmaster population is increasing. But it may be at a slow rate because of the large fall out rate.
